About

I'm Brionne Griffin, a Staff Experience Designer at Visa. Over the last several years, I've helped lead some of Visa's most significant product, platform, and workflow transformations.
I came to Visa by way of journalism, law, and public media. I designed in the latter two, and learned in all three how to build an argument, hold a room, and change a mind.
From shaping the future of digital commerce experiences to creating new AI-enabled ways of working that move Design beyond defining experiences and into delivering them, my career has centered on turning periods of significant change into opportunities for growth, alignment, and innovation.
Most recently, I became the first designer in Visa's Global Design organization to contribute directly to a production codebase using AI. What mattered most wasn't the pull request itself, but what it represented: a new path for Design to participate directly in product delivery.
Since then, I've collaborated closely with Product and Engineering leadership to help establish new AI-enabled workflows that give Design a more prominent seat at the table and a more active role in delivery, creating new opportunities for designers to move beyond defining experiences and into building them.
For years, our industry optimized for handoffs. Today, AI is creating opportunities for designers to participate more directly in the products they help create, bringing us closer than ever to the outcomes we seek. I'm excited by what becomes possible when Design moves beyond defining experiences and into delivering them.
Design no longer just defines. We deliver.
And we're just getting started.
